Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Paprika has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts him.
Though he is named after a spice, Paprika is anything but spicy! This sweet boy once had a loving home, but he was surrendered to the rescue when the owners stated he was incredibly stressed. He would urinate outside the litterbox, get bullied by his other kitty family member, and grow nervous around the family's young children. The second he was out of the house and into his foster home, he became a whole new kitty! No urinating outside the litterbox, nor stressed! He's a bit shy as one would imagine, but he has decompressed and opened up to his foster family. We think it would be in everyone's best interest if this guy went to a home with no children and maybe one or two friendly kitties.
In fact, if you wanted two kitties, Paprika has a recommendation! Since he arrived at his foster home, he has become best friends with a tuxedo kitty named Beauregard (or Bobo for short). They perfectly compliment each other's personality, and it always brings a smile to your face whenever you see them stroll on by. However, if that's not possible, Paprika will understand. He doesn't mind being an only kitty!
So what can we say about this handsome devil?
Well, for starters, Paprika is a beautiful orange tabby who is a gentle sweetheart. While he is a little shy at first, when he unwinds, you'd never think anyone could be so affectionate! He has the patience of a saint and treats you with gentle touches as if you were a newborn. Spending time with him is incredibly rewarding. You'd view this boy as your best friend with enough love and time, and he would see you in the same light. He's a rather smart cat too who loves to play with toys. Break the ice with this baby, and you'll have a buddy for life!
Paprika’s adoption donation is $115 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.
