Hi! My name is George and I am gorgeous! That's what the G that was branded on my ear stands for. I am a 4-year-old hound dog that is full of life. I got lost while out on an adventure and ended up in someone's yard. They were nice and brought me to the shelter so they could help me find my owner, but sadly, nobody came to claim me. I am forever young at heart and would love to find a new forever home. If you would like to go for hikes or outdoor adventures of any kind, I am the dog for you! I am sweet and loving and would make a great addition to anyone's family. Come meet me at the shelter and see if I might be the right guy for you.

When you adopt from the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs, you will get a healthy, loving companion that has received its preliminary inoculations, is spayed or neutered, has a tag and microchip for ID and is eligible for a free veterinarian checkup. The adoption fee is a great value. We endeavor to have all animals receive a rabies vaccination. In Colorado, rabies must be administered by a licensed veterinarian.

The Humane Society operates the Animal Shelter located at 465 Cloman Blvd in Pagosa Springs. Hours are Monday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
