My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angel!

Angel is just about the sweetest kitty around. Needless to say, she lives up to her name. This little lady is friends with everyone she meets, no matter the species. She absolutely adores her human friends, but she also gets along well with the dogs and other cats in her short term foster home.

Angel is patiently waiting to find that special someone who will give her a home for life. Could that be you? Give us a call at 281-342-1512 and we will help you get in contact with her foster for a meet and greet!

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.

We hope that you will find your new love at our shelter - we always have so many to choose from!
