My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bucky! He’s a 2-year-old neutered male weighing 58 lbs, with a striking mix of breeds like American Foxhound, Siberian Husky, and German Shepherd, making him one handsome pup. Bucky arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/21/2025 and has a happy-go-lucky personality, loving every moment spent with people. Getting out of his kennel is pure joy for him, and he might pull on the leash or jump up to show his excitement. Playful at heart, he entertained himself in the yard by tossing around a rope toy—it’s a joy to watch. Once his energy is spent, he loves to be close, resting his head gently in your lap while enjoying pets and taking treats softly. Bucky dreams of a loving family with a secure yard to play in, while living indoors with his humans. With a sweet and affectionate soul like his, you simply can’t go wrong.
