My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Uncle Sam – The Senior Sweetheart You’ve Been Looking For! 🐾

Looking for a calm, loving, and charming companion? Uncle Sam is a sweet 8-year-old Chihuahua who’s ready to find his forever home. This little guy may be a senior, but he’s got plenty of love and snuggles left to give!

Here’s why Uncle Sam is the perfect addition to your family:

💖 Good with Dogs, Cats & Kids – Uncle Sam is social and gets along with everyone! Whether you have other dogs, cats, or kids, he’ll settle right in and be part of the family.

🛏️ Crate Trained – He’s crate trained and knows how to relax when you're not home, making him an easy and low-maintenance companion.

🐾 A Gentle Senior – At 8 years old and 12 pounds, Uncle Sam is the perfect size for lap cuddles, short strolls around the block, or just hanging out with you on the couch. He’s calm, affectionate, and enjoys life at a slower pace.

Uncle Sam may be a senior, but he still has so much love to give and would be the perfect buddy to share your life with. He’s ready to spend his golden years in a cozy home where he’ll be pampered and adored.

If you’re looking for a low-key, loving companion to call your own, Uncle Sam might just be the perfect match! 🐕💕

Additional adoption info

We try to make the adoption process as smooth, convenient and easy as possible. We treat each animal as an individual and take that into account when approving applications. While one dog may require a 6ft privacy fenced in yard, another may be just as happy going on walks and living in an apartment. We consider the home set up and lifestyle of Adopters in regard to the pet they are interested in more than other barriers.
