Hi I’m mommy Engee. But I’m a mommy no more! I was found as a stray with my babies in June 2025 and the vet said I could be anywhere between 1-5 years old so we went with the middle and said 3 years old. I am in a foster home by Fischer’s park in Towamencin and have been spayed, vaccinated, wormed, and use the litter box all the time. I eat twice a day-canned food in am and pm which is a rotation of Nulo, Verus, wellness, and friskies and kibble given in pm is currently a mixture of Diamond and Wellness. I am a very shy lady and hid a lot in the beginning despite really liking being pet and getting attention. When my foster mom pets me I do what she calls rollie pollies, make biscuits, and purr. I’m also learning how awesome it is to jump up and just sit on my foster mom’s lap after scritches but please do not pick me up and put me on your lap (yet!). I don’t mind boy cats but I don’t really like girl cats and will swat them if they try to steal the attention I’m getting from my foster mom but otherwise coexist peacefully with girl cats. There also are 2 medium sized mild mannered dogs in my foster home that I like. If you think I might be the kitty for you apply today!
You can also check meowt (and my foster siblings!) on you tube @fostermamanursedoolittle

Additional adoption info
During review of the application if you rent your home, we confirm with your landlord that you are allowed to have the cat per your lease.
We also consider if a particular cat is a good fit for your home. Certain cats will do better in homes without small children, or without other cats. Other cats may need to be adopted with a cat that they are bonded with. So we make sure that the cat and the home are a good match before completing an adoption.
Some of our fosters allow trial adoptions, where you would have 2-3 weeks to make sure that the cat being adopted was accepted by the other pets in your home. If you are interested in this, please ask your Adoption Representative.
All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been screened for feline leukemia and FIV, inoculated, sterilized and wormed when they first come to us. Additional vet work is completed for those cats that require additional care. Healthy, adoptable cats and kittens are then housed through our network of foster homes until they are adopted.
You are also welcome to come visit cats at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations (see times for adoption showings). If you see a cat there that you like, you can complete an adoption application there in person.
Questions - email us at: contact@straycatblues.org. We are happy to answer general questions, and also put you in touch with the foster families for questions about specific cats.
Adoption Fees:
• $150 - Kittens up to one year of age
• $100 - For cats over one year and up to 7 years of age
• $70 - For cats 7 years of age and over.
All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.
Fees for cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.
