Stevie is a 6-year-old pit mix weighing about 63 lbs, and he’s ready to win over hearts with his charm and goofy personality. Stevie`s are unnaturally cloudy, but don`t worry - he can definitely see.
This sweet boy is friendly right from the start—he greets people with a wagging tail and sometimes a big kiss! Stevie can get a little excited, especially on leash (he’s strong and pulls), but once he settles in, his playful and affectionate side shines. He loves being near people, jumping up for attention, and leaning in for scratches—especially around his back where he gets a little itchy.
Stevie did great meeting new people and showed friendly curiosity when introduced to another dog. He was social and tolerant, even if he wasn’t quite ready to join in on play. He enjoys tug games with toys and happily trades for a treat. Around food, Stevie is focused on eating but stays relaxed if you pet him while he eats.
Because of his enthusiasm and size, Stevie would do best in a home with adults or families with children over 12. He’ll thrive with adopters who can give him some structure, help him practice his leash manners, and provide plenty of playtime and love.
