My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is an adorable little kitten who was rescued at about 8 weeks old and has been thriving in her foster home for the past month. Despite the challenges of a full rescue system, her rescuers couldn't turn a blind eye to her plight and decided to give her the care she deserves.

This sweet girl has been dewormed, treated for ear mites and tapeworm, and is up to date on vaccinations. She’s also Heartworm, FeLV, and FIV negative—making her a healthy addition to any loving home!

Charlie is currently staying in a room that will soon become a nursery, as her rescuers are preparing for a new baby of their own. Though it’s a busy time, they are committed to finding her the perfect forever home.

Charlie is scheduled for spaying on August 14th. If you’re interested in giving this playful and loving kitten her forever family, please reach out to Caleb at 864-554-7409 or via email at cmccalla01@icloud.com. Let’s find Charlie the loving home she deserves! 💖

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
