I’m an indoor-only cat who enjoys playtime with sticks and feather toys. I like to be pet and shown affection, but only when I’m in the mood. When I’ve had enough, I may hiss or growl, and I don’t like my butt or tail touched. I prefer not to be picked up, but I’m otherwise gentle and loving. I’ve never lived with children, dogs, or other cats, so I would do best in a quiet home without kids. I’m a little on the heavier side and need routine grooming, especially around my hind end, so my forever family should be prepared to help me stay clean and comfy. The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
