Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bean!
Known to be an angel in kitty form, this sweet girl recently joined the AFRP family after the loss of her beloved owner. Now, Bean is ready to begin a new chapter in her golden years with a furever family who will spoil her just as much!
As Bean is still new to our program, we are still learning more about her everyday! True to calico fashion though, Bean can be a bit shy at first meeting but is quick to warm up. Once she's comfortable, she turns into the ultimate biscuit-making machine! Bean is a total lap kitty and would love to find a home with an adopter who plans to provide said lap! Her favorite past times include naps, snuggles, more naps... and also nature watching.
Bean is seeking a home with adult adopters, or with families who have cat-savvy children over the age of 12 at this time as she can be a bit timid with loud noises. Bean will need to be only the kitty in the home, which just means more one-on-one lovings!
** This pet is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate!
That means you can foster them for a short trial period to make sure they’re the perfect match for your home before finalizing the adoption. If you’re interested, please complete both a foster application and an adoption application so we can get the process started. **
Bean is currently in a foster home. A meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been submitted and approved. Visit our website today at www.animalfriendsrescue.org to fill one out!

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
