Looking for double the love and double the purrs? Meet Macho and Nacho, two incredibly sweet, all-black brother cats who are ready to find their forever home – together.
These handsome 8-year-old boys are the definition of gentle souls. They’ve spent their whole lives side by side, and their bond is unbreakable. Whether they’re curled up in a sunbeam, grooming each other, or softly purring by your side, Macho and Nacho will fill your home with love, calm, and quiet joy. They enjoy the company of people and are easy going. Nacho is the more outgoing of the two but they both enjoy petting, brushing and playing with cat toys.
They’re affectionate, mellow, and easy-going – perfect for someone looking for loving companionship without the chaos of kittens. They do best in a calm environment, and would thrive in a home without other pets, where they can be the center of your world (and your couch).
Already neutered, litter trained, and full of heart – all these sweet brothers need is a second chance and a safe place to call home.

More about this rescue
Golden Oldies Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in June 2016.
Our mission is to be a resource and advocate for older cats in Monterey County. We re-home older cats in Monterey County whose guardians can no longer care for them, or those who are at risk in local shelters. We place these cats in temporary foster homes and then find permanent loving homes for them enriching the lives of both the cats and their new humans.
We promise a lifetime commitment to the cats in our care. They either will be adopted or will live out their lives in one of our foster homes.
Golden Oldies is led by a board who share a vision of helping older cats in Monterey County live out their remaining years in safe, secure and loving homes. We are all volunteer and 100 percent foster-based
