Meet Myla!

A playful five-year-old Boxer mix currently living in O’Fallon, MO, whose striking tricolor coat and icy blue eyes are only part of her captivating charm. This medium-sized beauty weighs in at fifty pounds and has a larger-than-life personality that’s bursting with energy, affection, and soulful sweetness!

Myla's dream day includes a game of fetch, splashing in a kiddie pool, and relaxing with a good rawhide. She’s also a graduate of formal obedience training and knows sit, stay, come, shake, and more—an eager student with a bright, attentive spirit. She does best with a guardian who can provide calm, confident leadership, as she needs continued help with her reactivity toward other dogs. With positive reinforcement and consistency, Myla will continue to blossom into a well-balanced companion!

She does well around young children and would love a home with a fenced yard where she can safely zoom around and stretch her legs. But Myla’s heart truly shines when she's close to her people. Incredibly sweet and loving, she bonds deeply and doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods. If she’s home by herself for more than four hours, she may have a little piddle accident. A caregiver who is home most of the time would be the perfect match for her loving and loyal nature.

Myla also needs a bit of special care when it comes to her health. She has severe allergies that haven’t responded to homemade food, medicated baths, or other treatments. Despite this, she remains a cheerful and affectionate girl who just needs a family willing to provide her with the extra TLC she requires to feel comfortable in her skin.

She’s crate trained, house-trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. While she’s still unsure about cats and can be a little nervous when the doorbell rings, she lights up when meeting new people.
