My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**My adoption fee has been generously sponsored by a member of the community! Now all I need is you!**

Intake Reason: Surrendered, part of an outdoor colony.

Known with:
·Cats: May benefit from a feline friend. Should either be the only cat in the home or go to a home with other FeLV+ cats.
·Dogs: Likely good.
·Kids: Likely good.

Personality: Luma is a pint-sized powerhouse of personality. With her tuxedo coat and bright eyes, she looks like she’s always dressed for a party—and lucky for you, she is the party. Outgoing and endlessly playful, Luma’s favorite hobbies include launching ping pong balls into orbit, scaling her plastic ball tower like a jungle gym, zooming around with Olympic-level enthusiasm, and grooming herself to perfection (perhaps a little too perfect).
She’s food motivated and proud of it. Treats? Yes. Kibble? Yes. That thing you dropped on the floor? Also yes. Her snack radar is unmatched, and she’ll charm you with chirps and tail wiggles until you cave.
Luma lives with feline leukemia, but don’t let that fool you—she’s thriving, joyful, and full of life. She may need a little extra care and a calm environment with other FeLV-positive cats or as a solo queen, but she gives back tenfold in love, laughter, and entertainment.

Feline leukemia (FeLV) is a viral disease that weakens a cat’s immune system, making them more susceptible to illnesses such as upper respiratory infections and certain cancers. Unfortunately, there is no cure for FeLV. However, many cats with this condition can still enjoy happy, healthy lives with routine monitoring and regular veterinary care. These cats are just like any other cat—they deserve love, attention, and a safe environment.
