Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duncan is a 7 year old English Bulldog looking for his forever home. We would like to find a home that has EB experience and can provide a stable and structured home environment for him.
- no cats
- proper / slow intros with dogs. Adopter would need to ok with using a crate if there is another dog in the home until everyone is acclimated
-no kids
- housebroken, crate trained
- needs to be fed separate (if another dog in the home)
- preferred someone that is home often, we are told he has some separation anxiety (undetermined)
- prone to yeast infections if his folds are not cleaned on the regular
-UTD on shots
-50 lbs
A home with a fenced yard is preferred. Bulldog experience required.
Located in Tampa, FL and willing to travel within 2-3 hours of Tampa for the PERFECT home.

Adoption fee: $250

Part of the application process is that we verify vet references, background checks and property checks as well which sometimes takes time.

Second Chance” is not a second chance for dogs, because that would presume they had a first chance and failed. The majority of the dogs we rescue never had any chances, first, second, or otherwise. The name of our rescue refers to giving humans a second chance to provide a safe, healthy, and loving home and environment for our dogs, since most of these dogs come to us after they have been abused or neglected by their owners.
SCF solely relies on volunteers to get the work done and no one receives compensation for their work. SCF receives no funding from the government or the United Way. Our adoption fees and donations from other dog lovers cover our costs.
