From Mills's Foster Parent:
Mills is doing amazing. She is very loving, very needy for attention, loves to be snuggled and cuddled but, you can't touch her beyond her face and head. If you do, she very slowly and gently swats at you with no nails. She eats her food and uses her litter box without any issues. Loud noises do not bother her, she doesn't run from the vacuum!
She loves to stay by my daughter's side, even sleeping with her at night! My daughter can pick her up without any issues and we can place her in the cat carrier with no problems. She was an absolute great customer at the groomer's getting her nails clipped, she didn't run, swat or bite. She laid very calmly getting them done.
We have 2 dogs and 2 cats in our household already and we believe that Mills will thrive better being the only animal in the house. She tends to stay upstairs, away from all of the other animals. She tends to shy away from the dogs when they come near her but will hiss at our female cat when she tries to engage with her. My male cat stays away so I can't report on their interaction.
Mills, from time to time, will venture downstairs at night while we watch tv, circle the living room and then go back upstairs. We see this as progress.
My daughter works from home and so Mills will sit on her lap whenever she can or climb up on my daughter's desk shelf and watch her work.
Although Mills had a bad rap sheet when we first met her at ACCT, she has never exhibited any of the behaviors, unless of course you tried to touch her beyond her head. She is an absolute to joy to foster and we hope that we can find someone who will treat her as the queen that she is.

ACCT Philly is an independent, 501c3 nonprofit organization, contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services.
