My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Special 10-21 to 10-31-25 $75 for single cat and $125 for bonded pair.

DOB 4/17/25
Named after one of the three furies from Greek Mythology, little Meg lives up to her reputation with a spunky spark! She loves chasing her siblings around and showing them who is boss! When she’s not roughhousing with her siblings, she likes to sleep curled up in our laps or next to us in a chair, so she has a super soft side, too.

We call her “Meggies with the leggies” as she looks like she’s wearing a pair of black pants! She’s absolutely precious and would love to find her forever family with her big brother, Hypnos. They love spending time together and can often be found sleeping curled up in a cuddle puddle.

Both kittens have been around other adult cats, and would do well in a home with kids or pets, as long as they’re given proper space and time to acclimate.

PLEASE READ:
Adoption fee $100 for adult (over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for FIV/FELV, microchipped, have received age-appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home.
Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all-volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet.
Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat in the home for the kitten to befriend. It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.
