This 3–4 year old, 45–46lb bundle of goofy energy is:
**Neutered & up to date** on all his shots
**Crate trained** (but mostly uses it for bedtime snuggles)
**A+ copilot** for car rides — he’ll navigate the North Pole if you let him
**Kid-friendly, dog-friendly** and endlessly *attention-friendly*
Obsessed with **treats**, **stuffies**, and learning new tricks (he’s working on “shake” and it’s ADORABLE )

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes vaccines, spay/neuter, Heartworm test, microchip, ID collar, leash, and harness.
Meet Jasper, he's looking for a permanent home where he can run and play. He loves car rides, stuffed animals, playing with kids or other dogs and attention. He enjoys being outside when it's nice out and would love a fenced in yard or a to roam. Jasper is a shepherd mix, approximately 3-4 years old, 45lbs, neutered, up to date on shots and flea/tick prevention. He is crate trained but prefers to only sleep in it. He would fit in nicely with a lively family or someone who travels the road.
Jasper is a male shepherd mix, about 4 years old, weighs 46lbs. He's energetic, does great on car rides, goes with the flow but he's ready for action. He's up to date with his shots and flea/tick prevention. Jasper's dream is to have a fenced in yard where he can run off his energy, maybe even some camping and hiking or long car rides on the way to an adventure. He'd be great for someone that has the energy to keep up with him or maybe even some kids and other dogs that he can play with.
Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.
Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else.
We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.

Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.
Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
