Rocky is looking for forever! This 14 years young gentleman came to the rescue when his owner was jailed. He and his friend Fiddle who has been adopted, were taken to the local shelter. Poor Rocky had been left in a belly band too long and had a deep wound in his groin area. He also had a heart murmur. With visits to vet specialists, this guy is on cardiac medications and his wound has healed. He has the most gorgeous coat. He walks well on a leash, is housetrained and likes to be near his humans. He is great with other dogs who are similar in energy level to him. If you're looking for the perfect mellow companion, Rocky is your guy!

Because all our animals are kept in foster homes an appointment is necessary to visit with one of them. You can send us an email and we will be happy to have you come and meet your chosen animal.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization working with the rescue, adoption, and sanctuary of companion animals as well as and farm animals. The dogs and cats we have come from either other rescue groups which have run out of room, high kill shelters on their "death day", or from private owners.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible and all monies raised go directly to the care of the animals in rescue.

We are a no kill facility but because we are a small group all our animals are held in foster homes until their forever family comes for them and appointments are necessary to visit with the animals in our care.
