Hi, I’m Bella a gentle soul wrapped in a snow-white coat. I may seem a little reserved at first, but give me a treat and a little patience, and you’ll see my tail wag and my personality bloom. Once we’re friends, I’m all about the cuddles, affection, and showing you my belly for attention.
They say I’ve got a sweet, cheerful energy with a touch of shyness that makes me especially endearing. I’m not the type to rush into things, but once I feel safe, I open up with joyful enthusiasm and a whole lot of love.
Social Skills
• With People: I’m slightly shy when first meeting people, but I warm up quickly especially if you have snacks. I haven’t spent time with young kids yet, so a quieter home with older children or adults would likely suit me best.
• With Other Dogs: I enjoy meeting other dogs and get along well with those my size or smaller. I know how to adjust my energy, even lowering my body to play gently with tiny pups!
• With Cats: I haven’t met cats yet, so it’s still a mystery how I’d react.
On My Walks
I love getting outdoors! I can pull a bit on the leash at first, but overall, I’m a good walking buddy who follows your lead. After a nice stroll or a good play session, I settle down easily and enjoy some quiet rest time.
Life at Home
I’m potty trained for outdoor use, and not one to guard food from others. I do sometimes bark when I’m excited especially if I’m feeling joyful or eager to greet someone. It’s not out of fear, just my way of sharing my enthusiasm.
I do get car sick, so gentle and short rides are best for me for now. And while I don’t mind baths, I’m not a fan of blow dryers, so I do best when air-dried or dried in a quiet dryer room.
My Ideal Home
I’d be happiest with someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to wait for my heart to unfold. If you’ve had a Jindo or know the breed, that’s a bonus. I’d love a family who lets me move at my own pace, offers a calm and patient environment, and enjoys seeing the joy of a once-shy dog learning to shine.
