Chickpea is a happy, affectionate pup who loves people and has never met a squeaky toy or game of tug he didn’t enjoy. He’s housetrained, smart, and knows his basic commands like Sit and Shake. He’s also highly food-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding for him — and for you!

True to his name, Chickpea is full of zest and spunk. He’s still working on his manners and can get a bit jumpy when he’s excited, so he’ll do best with an adopter who’s ready to help him channel that energy through positive training, exercise, and enrichment. He’d thrive in an active home that loves walks, playtime, and maybe even a bit of adventure.

Chickpea has done well with some dogs and enjoys play with tolerant, friendly companions. He’s curious about cats and may do fine with confident, dog-savvy ones after proper introductions.
