He’s like a giant toddler who never got the rulebook on how to be a polite pup. Mouthy when excited and full of wiggles, Lochlan needs an active home with older kids, and someone committed to giving him structure and training. The good news? He’s super food motivated and ready to learn! ??
Lochlan LOVES toys, has no off switch, and is definitely not feline-friendly (sorry, cats ?). But with the right human, this lovable whirlwind is going to thrive. Let’s find him the forever home he deserves—full of action, adventure, and someone who gets his “wrecking ball” vibes! ??

We are located at 1200 North Delsea Drive, Clayton, New Jersey, 08312.
Adoption hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12 PM - 7 PM and Friday & Saturday 12 PM - 4 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost, stray, unwanted or abandoned pets for the 24 municipalities in Gloucester County, until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner or adopted by a new family.The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick, injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.
We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core who work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes. All animals are spayed/neutered at the time of their adoption and up to date on their age appropriate vaccinations, Heartworm tested (for dogs) or feline combination tested (for cats) and microchipped.
