My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sonic is a 4-5 yr old 8 lb male chihuahua. He is housebroken. He was found washed up on the embankment at someones farm. The river took him downstream until he was able to make it to land. He is very sweet, shy, and playful. He must have had a difficult past as he can be cautious around men until he gets to know them. He is with a male Foster right now and hes really warmed up to him. From his foster dad: He's become quite the velcro pup. Where I go, he snuggles up next to or on top of me, and he's taken to sleeping with me, waking me up to teeny weeny chihuahua kisses. He's discovered the iguanas in the yard and loves to hunt and give chase. Hasn't come near catching one....yet, lol. Sonic would be your best buddy and pal. He likes going on walks. It will take a very patient adopted to let him open up and learn to trust. We dont know how he would be with children, but due to his trust issues it would have to be older children. $450 Adoption fee includes vaccines, neuter, dental, bloodwork, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. More about this rescue

Broward County School Teachers who created this 501c3 non-profit organization in 2012, that have a deep love for animals and want to make a difference by keeping dogs and cats safe! We adopt dogs of all sizes and breeds. We provide assistance to families experiencing financial hardship that truly love their dog or cat but cannot afford to keep them due to a financial crisis and avoid them from having to surrender their pet to a high kill animal shelter. We provide foster homes to dogs and cats and help find them loving furever homes.
