Lilo, Kona, and Tiki were found huddled under concrete blocks at a construction site bleeding, crawling with fleas and ticks, and fighting to survive.
They were rushed to the vet.
They're anemic.
They have hookworms, roundworms, and coccidia.
Their skin is raw and inflamed from flea dermatitis.
They're literally bleeding from tick bites.
And they're just babies.
We gave them medicated baths. It took hours.
They whimpered through it, but they let us help.
They want to live. They want to feel better.
All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
