Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dipper – The Sweet & Spunky Half-Tail Tabby! 🧡🤍
Dipper is a charming orange and white tabby boy with an adorable half tail that only adds to his one-of-a-kind personality. He’s full of playful energy, always ready to pounce on a toy or chase a feather wand, but he also has a sweet, cuddly side that will melt your heart.
This handsome guy loves attention and is always curious about what his humans are doing. Whether it’s joining you on the couch for movie night or following you around the house, Dipper will make sure you never feel lonely.
He gets along great with other cats and would thrive in a loving home where he can have both playtime and snuggle time. Dipper is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to meet his forever family!
🐾 Good with: Cats, respectful children
🐾 Personality: Playful, loving, curious

Our adoptable animals are fostered in loving homes throughout Huntsville, Alabama and the surrounding area. Because we do not operate a physical shelter, meet-and-greets are arranged by appointment only—typically after an adoption application has been submitted and approved.

More about this rescue
Friends of Rescue is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama with transport locations throughout the Great Lakes and New England. FOR is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009.
Our mission is to save adoptable dogs and cats from overcrowded Southern shelters where limited space, minimal funding, and high intake rates often lead to euthanasia.
We are not professional trainers or animal behaviorists—just dedicated individuals working together to give these animals a second chance. Every pet in our program lives in a loving foster home and receives age-appropriate veterinary care while awaiting adoption.
Our ultimate goal is to match each animal with a committed, compassionate individual or family who will provide a FORever home.
