Currently at Burlingame Animal Hospital | 5 years old | Spayed Pitbull Mix
Cocoa is a beautiful brindle sweetheart with a heart as warm as her name! At 5 years old, she’s the perfect blend of gentle energy and calm companionship. Cocoa has completed her heartworm treatment (diagnosed 1/16/2024, completed 4/24/2024), and officially tested heartworm negative on 1/22/2025. She’s been on prevention ever since and is healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home!
Cocoa has also received basic obedience training, making her a well-mannered girl who’s eager to please. She's sweet, especially once she builds trust, and while she enjoys playtime, she's still learning how to fully let loose. She absolutely loves her walks and would make a wonderful walking companion—or she’d be just as content with a yard to explore and relax in.
Ideal Home:
Cocoa would do best as the only pet in the household, but she may do well with another large dog if introduced properly and patiently. After over a year at Burlingame Animal Hospital, Cocoa is more than ready to find a family to call her own.
With her sweet personality, obedience skills, and loving spirit, Cocoa is just waiting for the right person to give her the home she’s been dreaming of.
