My name is Marvin!

Marvin didn’t mean to get caught—he just happened to wander into a trap meant for someone else. But sometimes, the best things happen by accident. When we first brought Marvin in, the plan was a quick TNR and back outside. But once we got to know him, it was clear: this gentle grey boy didn’t belong on the streets. He belonged somewhere warm and safe—with people who understand that trust takes time. At first, Marvin was very timid. He would cower when approached, though he never ran. Over time, he has been coming out of his shell—he now leans into gentle pets and purrs easily when shown love. He’s still a quiet, low-maintenance boy, but he’s learning that people aren’t so scary after all. Marvin is also affectionately known as Uncle Marvin in his foster home, as he has taken younger kittens under his wing and offered them comfort and companionship. He is completely unbothered by other cats, making him a wonderful friend for feline companions. We know Marvin’s perfect person is out there—someone patient and kind, who finds beauty in the quiet moments and doesn’t mind earning their cat’s trust one blink at a time.
