Tango is a social butterfly who gets along famously with both dogs and children. Not 100% sure on cats, but we think he should probably be fine. Tango is already leash and crate trained, making him the perfect companion for your adventures! 🐾 With a weight of around 30 pounds, he’s the ideal size to cuddle up with after a day of play.
Born in March 2025, Tango is not only cute but also in great health! He is up to date on all shots, microchipped, dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Tango’s mom was a sweet black lab mix who unfortunately faced tragic circumstances. His dad remains a mystery, but he might have a hint of Jack Russell in him. Tango is looking for a fenced yard where he can run and play safely. 🏡
For an adoption fee of $150, you’ll cover spay/neuter, all those essential shots, a heartworm test, grooming if needed, and all the supplies he received while in care. Plus, it’s essential to keep this little guy on heartworm prevention for life. Tango deserves a loving home where he can thrive and be cherished forever.

The home check will be done at this time if local. If not local, pictures/videos are needed prior to approval.

Sign Adoption Contract
Contract must be signed in order to take a FURkid home.

Pay Fee
Adoption fees vary based on what we have paid while in our care. The adoption fee is listed in each pets bio.

Take the Pet Home
You must be willing to love and keep your pet FURever. If you can’t promise to do everything in your power to keep them, please don’t apply.

Established in 2011, FURever FURkids Sanctuary & Rescue is a privately run rescue.
All of our sanctuary/rescue pets have come from situations such as being on death row at shelters, owners who can no longer keep them, or even rescued from heartbreaking situations.
Each rescued pet is kept in foster homes until a FURever home is found. If no home can be found, they become a sanctuary pet. Every pet is spayed/neutered (if of age), current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and dogs are heartworm tested, (if the dog is over 6 months) prior to adoption.
The adoption process requires an adoption application. If the application looks good, we will contact your veterinarian for a reference (if applicable). If that checks out, we will schedule a home check (for the safety of our rescues). If local, we will come to your home. If you are not local, we will need several pictures and/or a video of your home/yard to complete the home check. Finally, if approved, you will fill out an adoption contract and pay the pets set adoption fee (which varies).
FURever FURkids Sanctuary & Rescue has adopted out hundreds of animals since we began. We have a professional working relationship as a rescue with many other area rescues, vets, shelters and spay/neuter clinics in the area.
