Hi, I’m Jack, an 8-year-old Husky with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. I have the sweetest eyes and the most joyful smile. I’m looking for a forever home where I can be close to my people, soak up affection, and enjoy life at a comfortable pace. At 42 pounds, I am fun size lovable cuddly little bear!
I may be a bit older, but I’ve still got plenty of energy! I absolutely love going on walks, especially in the morning, and I get a little excited when I see the leash — can you blame me? Once we’re out the door, I settle in and enjoy sniffing the world around me. My back legs are a little stiff, and my foster mom helps me walk on grass when I get tired, but I don’t let that stop me from having fun.
I’m a sweet companion who thrives when I can see my favorite humans. I’m a bit of a velcro dog, I’ll happily curl up beside you on the couch or lay by the door waiting for you to come home. I don’t love the crate because I can’t see you, but I’m completely trustworthy when left out. I’m also fully housebroken and know how to ask to go outside.
Because my eyesight isn’t perfect, I prefer back scratches and belly rubs over face pets or kisses. I’m gentle with kids and get along great with other dogs, especially those who don’t mind me being a little protective of my toys. Cats? I just walk right by them without a second thought.
Did I mention I love to play? I’m a fetch pro! I’ll drop the ball right at your feet and be ready to go again. I also enjoy toys and will happily entertain myself. I didn’t learn commands when I was younger, but I’m smart and treat-motivated, I’m learning “sit” and “stay” already, and I’d love to keep learning with you. My foster mom says the way my head tilts when I listen is one of her favorite things about me.
If you're looking for a sweet, loyal, slightly silly older pup to share your days with, I’d love to be your guy.

More about this rescue
We started this small rescue in rememberance that rescue work is strictly about the dogs. We do our best to help save as many dogs as we can with our limited resourses.
We can always use volunteers and Foster homes to help us accommplish this task. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as well from $5 to $500 and they all go to helping more dogs.
