Hi, I’m Maya, a petite, 3-year-old, 43-pound Husky with beautiful brown eyes and a heart full of love. I may be small, but I’ve got enough energy and affection to light up your whole world! If I had it my way, I’d climb right into your lap and stay there, giving you all the kisses and cuddles you could ever want.
I’m a total love bug who follows my person everywhere. I do get a little anxious when I can’t see you — I just love being close. I’ll go into my crate and settle down fine, but it’s definitely not my favorite place. I’d much rather be running around the yard with you or soaking up some sunshine by your side.
I haven’t quite figured out toys yet, but I love to go on walks! I get excited and might pull a bit, but I’m working on my leash manners. I also sometimes get distracted outside and forget to finish my business, so I’ve had the occasional accident, but I’m trying my best and learning every day!
I’m great with other dogs, but I don’t depend on them, so I’d do well as your one-and-only or as part of a pack. I’m curious about small animals (especially ducks!), so a home without cats would be best for me.
I already know how to sit, and I’m eager to learn more, especially if you’ve got treats! I’m smart, sweet, and ready to be your loyal companion. Right now, I’m still a little unsure if my people are going to disappear, but with love and reassurance, I know I’ll blossom into the perfect family dog.
I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccines, and microchipped, all ready for my forever home. If you’re looking for a cuddly, energetic best friend, I think we might be a perfect match.

An adoption application must be submitted via our website that requests basic personal information, Veterinarian Reference, and personal references. A home visit will be required of all adopters. We limit adoptions to the state of Florida only. Our adoption donations range from $125 to $400 depending on the age and breed of the dog.

We started this small rescue in rememberance that rescue work is strictly about the dogs. We do our best to help save as many dogs as we can with our limited resourses.
We can always use volunteers and Foster homes to help us accommplish this task. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as well from $5 to $500 and they all go to helping more dogs.
