Natalia is a super fun, energetic, and affectionate 4-year-old (possibly younger) pup weighing about 41 pounds. She’s playful, smart, and full of life—always ready for a good time, especially if toys are involved! Natalia loves her toys and is a powerful chewer, so sturdy ones are best. She’ll happily play fetch or entertain herself, as long as she has something appropriate to chew on.
This girl is easy to handle, coming out of her kennel with enthusiasm—offering her a toy first helps channel that excitement. On leash, she’s a great walker with only mild pulling when something catches her attention. Natalia rides well in the car, calmly lying down once she’s settled, though she’ll need to be restrained because she’s eager to hop out as soon as the door opens. She’s also wonderful for baths and enjoys a little pampering.
Natalia is treat-motivated, takes them gently, and is working on mastering “sit.” She’s wiggly and full of tail wags when meeting both people and dogs, showing friendly, loose body language all around. While she can get mouthy or jump up when excited, she redirects easily with guidance. She’s listed as best suited for a home with no small children and an experienced owner simply because she still has some puppy-like habits, such as occasionally grabbing clothes or picking up things around the house.
With consistency, training, and plenty of love, Natalia will blossom into a well-mannered and devoted companion. She’s dog-friendly and may even enjoy having another energetic canine friend to play with. Natalia’s joyful spirit and affectionate personality make her an incredible dog ready for an active, loving home.

The Guilford County Animal Shelter is the only public shelter in Guilford County. We are a professional, caring organization devoted to saving the lives of lost, abandoned and surrendered animals of Guilford County, N.C. We strive to humanely care for all the animals and work diligently to return lost animals to their owners.
We are committed to making every adoption of every animal a positive, permanent experience for both the animals and the pet owner. We work collaboratively with other rescue organizations to help place specific dogs, cats, livestock, exotic and wildlife. We also conduct community awareness programs on pet care and responsibility, as well as pet therapy at senior residence homes.
GCAS is committed to every animal that arrives at our facility. Our staff is devoted to treating every animal with a curable illness in order to help it get adopted. We are proud to have a 97% success rate with dogs and a 78% success rate with cats.
We are a proud adoption partner of Pets for Patriots, a nationally operating 501(c)(3) charity saving lives through companion pet adoption for United States veterans.
