I can be met by appointment at my foster home in Stormville, NY. You will also see me at any of the Tractor Supply events because I don't like to miss out on any fun. If you would like to foster me to adopt just send an email.

Astro is a vibrant, 7-month-old soul who is the perfect blend of athletic and affectionate. Though he has had a big transition recently, he is proving to be an incredibly smart boy who is eager to please and even more eager to love.

🌟 Why You’ll Love Him
Astro is an active, playful pup who is already well-ahead of the curve with his training!

House-Trained Pro: Astro is an excellent communicator. When he needs to go out, he’ll head to the door and go right to his leash to let you know. He even knows the command "Go Potty" to help him stay focused on the task at hand.

Crate Trained: He transitions easily to his crate with a simple "Crate" command and a small treat.

Impressive Recall: Astro has a special safety skill! When you say "Safety," he will come straight to you and sit right between your legs.

Playtime Enthusiast: He is the king of tug-of-war and loves a good "sniffing" challenge with treat mats. If you’re a runner or a hiker, Astro is your guy—he loves to be active, though he’s still learning to stay focused on his leash when there are interesting things to see!

🍖 Life with Astro
Astro is a healthy boy currently growing big and strong on Blue Buffalo Chicken Puppy Food. He follows a reliable routine: he loves his morning walk/potty break around 8:00 AM and his evening routine around 6:00 PM. He’s been neutered and is ready to jump into his next adventure.

Astro’s previous home loved him dearly and invested so much time into making him the well-behaved boy he is today. They want nothing more than a family who can match his energy and give him the active lifestyle a young Lab/Poodle mix dreams of.

How to meet dogs listed with "NY" :
If the dog is listed with an 'Avail date" and a (location) - the dog cannot be met until the event and it is a first come, first served adoption event with the dogs being met in the order the potential adopters sign in.

If the dog is listed as being in a (foster home ie: Foster in Carmel) please email us at info@pawsafe.org and we will set up an appointment for you to meet the dog(s) that interest you at their foster home(s).
