My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oscar and Jack: the sweetest little yin-and-yang duo looking for a forever home together.

If you’re searching for a kitten who brings both sparkle and sweetness into a home, Jack is ready to charm you. This 8-month-old fluffball arrived underweight and unsure of people, but once he discovered that humans come with warm laps, tasty treats, and plenty of love, he blossomed into the confident, joyful kitten he is today. While his siblings took their time warming up, Jack leapt headfirst into friendship, turning his foster home into his personal playground.

He bonded instantly with the dogs, then began weaving himself into every part of his foster family’s life, settling into hearts as easily as he settles into blankets. Jack is soft as silk, sweet as sugar, and full of the bright, buoyant spirit that makes kittens so irresistible.

Jack is also a world-class nap artisan. He sleeps with theatrical flair, often sprawled on his back with paws flung skyward. He loves curling against the family’s big dogs or pressing himself up against whichever cat is warmest at the moment. When nighttime rolls around, Jack never fails to join the humans in bed, snuggling close like a tiny, purring space heater. Cuddling isn’t a hobby for him; it’s his love language.

When he’s awake, Jack is pure motion and curiosity. He races after toys, “hunts” birds through the window, and executes sneak attacks on his feline friends with impeccable timing. And while Jack has never met a cat he didn’t want to befriend, his favorite companion in the world is his brother, Oscar.

Oscar is Jack’s quieter, more thoughtful counterpart. Where Jack is bold and bubbly, Oscar is gentle and cautious. He’s made huge strides learning to trust people, and so much of that growth is thanks to watching Jack move through life with fearless enthusiasm. Jack gives Oscar comfort and confidence, and Oscar grounds Jack with his calm, observant nature. They fit together beautifully, a little team that thrives because they have each other.

For that reason, these boys are a package deal—and an incredible one at that. Oscar leans on Jack for guidance, and Jack adores his brother with a devotion that’s impossible to ignore.

Jack gets along wonderfully with other cats, dogs, and respectful children, and will bring warmth, fun, and companionship to the right home.

Jack and Oscar are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They will not be separated.

If you’re ready for a home filled with snuggles, playfulness, and the magic that only a bonded duo can bring, Jack and Oscar are waiting to meet their forever family.

We received a grant from PetFinder Foundation to help find their forever home! Their adoption fee has been reduced by $200 (adoption fee for the pair is $400).

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Location: Glastonbury, CT
Adoption Fee: $600 for the pair
