What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I hope to find a home that can accommodate his love for walks and adventure while also giving him space indoors to snooze the day away. A home with a yard for zoomies is a plus.
Charles hasn’t had much experience with other animals or kids but he is very enthusiastic about meeting new people. He would need some training to know to be gentle with his excitement. I think he would do well in a home with older kids (10+) and big dogs. Small dogs don’t like him.
He is used to getting groomed on a regular basis and will let you brush his teeth, grind his nails, and bathe and de-shed him.
Charles can stay home alone without being destructive and is used to routine.
He does not like small spaces, especially car rides. Maybe a little training and a bigger car can change that.
Some leash training would benefit him as he does pull, especially when walking in a new environment.
Commands he knows: Sit, Paw, Lie Down, On Your Bed, Wait, Stay, (bringing his bowl to you after eating), and more!
