My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indo is a beautiful and loving kitten looking for his forever home. He came to the rescue with his mama and three siblings, and we're amazed that he hasn't been adopted yet because he really is just gorgeous. He's medium hair with a beautiful face, ear tufts, and a tail that looks like a feather duster. He started off rather scared of people and can still be startled easily, but once he's had time to adjust he loves nothing more than face scratches and belly rubs. Every morning he seeks out a human to climb onto their lap, show his belly for pets, and give huge purrs while making air biscuits. When you pet him with one hand, he often gently paws at your other hand, because his soft fur deserves BOTH hands for pets.

When it's not snuggle time, he loves to chase string toys and lasers, and he has the best butt wiggles before pouncing. He is very social, enjoying the company of cats and dogs alike, and would do best in a home with other animals to keep him busy. His sister, Raptor, is also still looking for her forever home. They get along wonderfully and it would be great if they were adopted together, but they're not necessarily bonded so as long as he has a furry friend to wrestle with, he'll do great. Given his age, he is very active and would probably climb the curtains if he didn't have a friend to play with, so he probably wouldn't do well as an only pet. While he is accustomed to other cats and dogs, he hasn't had much exposure to small children and may do best with older children and adults.

Indo is neutered, up to date on his shots, and ready to be adopted. If interested in adopting Indo, please submit an online adoption application and an adoption coordinator will contact you.

Additional adoption info

Prior to adoption, every CARE cat/kitten has received a thorough exam from a veterinarian, has tested negative for FIV/Felv (except as otherwise noted), been spayed/neutered if old enough, microchipped, dewormed, given flea preventative, and been inoculated against distemper. Rabies vaccine is given if the feline is over 4 months. Any other desirable medical attention has also been provided. Also, each cat/kitten has spent its rescued time in a private home in foster care being loved and assessed for temperament and personality, needs, likes and dislikes.

After your approval by our volunteers, a legal contract is signed with an adoption donation attached (this donation helps defray the medical costs incurred).
The adoption fee is a Donation.
