Meet Lucky! He is an 9 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Lucky hasn’t been tested around kids or cats. He is good with the other dogs inside of the home, but hasn’t been tested around dogs outside of the home. He is housebroken and crate-trained.
Lucky’s mother previously belonged to the owner’s best friend, who passed away. The puppies were born after the friend passed away. The current owner is surrendering him because his littermates attack him. He needs to go ASAP!
If you think you can provide a great home for Lucky, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Lucky.

Nancy Gonzalez, founder and CEO, created Australian Shepherds Furever (ASF), a non-profit organization to promote the educated adoption and rescue of the Australian Shepherd (Aussie) dog breed.
In July of 2012, ASF initiated as a Facebook page hoping to have 1,000 user "likes" by the end one year. The page quickly outgrew expectations, now with a network of nearly 27,000 individuals striving to provide aid and refuge to Aussies all over the country.
Using the Facebook page as a platform, the website www.australianshepherdsfurever.org was developed as an additional resource aimed at educating the public on this intelligent and beautiful breed. It provides resources for those seeking help, or those willing to contribute to the Adopt, Save, Foster (ASF) philosophy. Through this philosophy, ASF has saved the lives of countless dogs and helped to provide assistance to those that have nowhere else to turn.
We as humans have a responsibility to speak up and take action in favor of those beings that are less fortunate. Thanks to a team of passionate and proactive volunteers, Aussies nationwide are given a chance at a better life through Australian Shepherds Furever.
