My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🔥 Meet Red — The Outlaw With a Heart of Gold 🔥
Red is a big personality in a big dog body. Confident, stubborn in the funniest ways, and absolutely sure he runs the show, this handsome boy is looking for a home that appreciates a dog with swagger. If you like a dog with opinions, presence, and charm, Red is your guy.

Why You’ll Love Him
Rock‑solid house manners — fully potty trained and crate trained

Treat‑motivated and smart

Loyal, bold, and entertaining

A natural leader who thrives with structure and respect

Red isn’t a pushover, and he doesn’t want to be. He’s the type of dog who bonds deeply once he trusts you, and when he does, he’s all in.

Dog Social Skills
Likes female dogs best

Can be a little too enthusiastic in their space

Needs supervision with small dogs due to size and confidence

Not a match for cats or chickens

What Red Needs
A home that appreciates a dog with big energy and big opinions

Someone patient and consistent who won’t try to micromanage him

No corner kennels and no kenneling with female dogs

A calm, respectful approach if carrying brooms or mops — he stiffens briefly, then relaxes once the object is gone

His Vibe
Think: the outlaw, the boss, the guy who walks into a room and everyone notices.
He’s not difficult — he just knows who he is. Give him guidance, give him respect, and he’ll give you loyalty for life.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
