My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Thaddeus!
Just look at those eyes! Thaddeus is a handsome pup with a gaze that will melt your heart. He arrived at our shelter last summer with his three siblings, rescued by animal control on what felt like the hottest day of the year.
Thaddeus is a true success story, having graduated from our dog training program at Shawnee Correctional Center. He's a smart cookie who mastered all of his basic commands and even learned some extra special tricks! While Thaddeus is a good boy, he can be a little shy at first. He needs a bit of time to warm up and feel comfortable before his sweet, playful personality truly shines.
Thaddeus is all ready to find his forever home! He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and dewormed.
Don't wait! Come meet Thaddeus and let those beautiful eyes capture your heart. He's patiently waiting for a loving family to call his own.

From Thaddeus - Me and my 3 brothers were abandoned wait, easy, easy far away from anything we had ever known during the hottest week ever! Them this big Animal guy picked us up even though he had nowhere to take us. But he said he couldn't just leave us out in the extreme heat. That nice man drove us to a big noisy building where we could hear a lot of barking. We were so excited but also very nervous & even a little scared. But 2 very nice ladies came out to see us. We could hear a lot of talking but didn't know what was going on. What happened next changed our lives! These nice people, despite being extremely full, took us out of the big truck and held us, strokes our dirty fur, and even kissed us! We were put in a big, clean, cool space together, so we weren't so scared. They have told us that they will help find us our very own families. Families who will love us and keep us safe. I think, for now they are my family. But, if you would give a pup like me a 2nd chance, please apply at www.stfrancis-care.org/adopt
