With Minnie, less is more. She doesn’t ask for much, and is looking to trade in her stressful city street days for a quiet, loving home, gentle pets, and a warm lap to curl up on.
What does Minnie have to offer you? Loyal companionship, the most thoughtful head butts, and your newest forever friend. She does best with calm voices and slow movements. Minnie is an affectionate and soft-spoken sweetheart and will crawl into your lap or prop herself on the edge when she feels ready. She is still learning to let her guard down and trust humans but has made leaps and bounds already.
She values a calm approach and tender demeanor to match hers. She has boundaries and sometimes feels overstimulated from lots of petting, so she asks that you read her body language and pick up on her cues of when to respect her space. Because of this, dogs and children may be too energetic and overwhelming for her. While she hasn’t been in an environment with many other cats, her personal space rules with humans also seem to apply with her fellow felines. She would probably do best either as a solo fur baby or potentially with one sibling who is also low-energy (a senior cat or calm adult that does not crowd her space or spend all day zipping to and fro to alleviate the zoomies).
Minnie Cobb is around 4 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. She is affectionate, cuddly, friendly, gentle, loyal, and quiet.
Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
