Clarabelle’s story is unique. Her conversation starter is, “did you know I died once?” This miracle girl did, in fact, nearly leave this planet for good, but then she remembered she wanted to experience life with a loving family, so she turned around and came back, allowing our hearts to return to our chests in that moment. Clarabelle was septic. She had been in stuck labor for over 24 hours and was so severely anemic that her red blood cell count was declared “not compatible with life”. She underwent a c-section, followed by TWO blood transfusions, and due to her relentless will to live, is here to tell us all about it. We think this experience gave her the most positive outlook on life. She adores all humans and especially loves her foster cat siblings. All Clarabelle needs to be happy is a cozy lap and daily head rubs, which she’s delighted to exchange for loud purrs and fresh made biscuits.
