Meet Licorice, the smart, and sporty boy who’s so much more than his sweet name!
This boy has energy in all the best ways. A volunteer ran with him every other day and he was a fantastic partner—steady pace, great focus, and just the occasional “excuse me, I must chase this squirrel real quick” moment. He also got a special ranch outing and loved spending the day swimming.
Beyond his athletic abilities, Licorice is also extremely smart. He picks up on things quickly, understands what’s going on around him, and loves puzzle toys that challenge his brain. He already knows “sit” and enjoys having a job to do. And bonus? He’s very housetrained.
Licorice is more of an independent “hang out nearby” kind of dog than a clingy cuddler, but once he knows you, he’ll show his sweet, loyal side. If you want a smart, active, confident companion to share adventures with (and one who’s cool with a little personal space), Licorice is your guy!
