Anya gets along wonderfully with other kittens and enjoys both playtime and cuddle time. When she’s ready to relax, she’ll curl up for a nap and purr like a motorboat. She’s also an expert biscuit-maker—kneading away with her tiny paws whenever she’s feeling happy and cozy.

The Humane Society of Davie County is a non-profit 501c3 group seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals in Davie County and surrounding areas. The Humane Society obtained tax-exempt status in late 1998 and since then has endeavored to improve conditions for animals at the local animal shelter, raise awareness in the community about the need of spay/neuter of animals, and place numerous previously unwanted animals into loving homes. The Humane Society’s long-term goal is to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Davie County.
