Meet Duckling, an 8 month old pup with a brindle coat and a heart as sweet as his name. This handsome boy was rescued along with his littermates after their French Bulldog mom was struck by a car. No one knows exactly which breeds contributed to his unique look. There could be a dash of shepherd or chihuahua in there—but he currently weighs about 23 pounds and is expected to top out around 35 pounds, meaning he’ll stay in that manageable medium size.

Duckling's personality is an irresistible mix of goofy and loving. He delights in squeaky toys, romps with other dogs, and adores children. Once he’s done playing, he’s more than happy to curl up for a cuddle. Cats haven’t been part of his world yet, but given his age and gentle demeanor, a careful introduction should make them friends in no time.

This clever pup already responds to the word “kennel” and will trot into his crate on command. He’s puppy pad trained and learning proper house manners. Duckling is vaccinated and neutered also!
