Meet Frodo!
Born in 2020, Frodo is a friendly, affectionate cat with a heart as big as his adventurous spirit. Before finding his way into the safety of a home, Frodo spent some time living on his own, so he has a strong independent streak—but don’t let that fool you. He loves being petted and will happily soak up attention from his people.
Frodo isn't a fan of being held tightly (he likes his freedom!), but he’s perfectly content being picked up—as long as his legs are allowed to dangle. He gets along well with children and dogs, making him a great companion for a family. However, he prefers to be the only cat in the household and would thrive best in a home where he doesn’t have to share his space with feline rivals.
With his sweet personality, gentle nature, and a bit of a wild past, Frodo is the perfect mix of cuddle and character. He’s ready to settle down with a loving family who respects his quirks and appreciates his loyal companionship.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
