My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tart!
This stunning little lady is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Tart has a soft soul and a gentle nature, and while she may take a little time to warm up, once you’ve earned her trust she becomes incredibly affectionate. She’s also playful and sweet, the perfect balance of fun and tenderness.

Tart is part of the Snuggle Squad, a group of kittens from three different litters who have grown up together and bonded into the most loving, social crew. Because of this, Tart needs to be adopted out as a pair with one of her best buddies: Eclair, Strudel, Toothless, Astrid, Tuff Nut, Hiccup, Pascha, Peter, Lark, Lily, or Blossom.

If you’re ready to give this beautiful girl the love and patience she deserves, Tart will blossom into the most loyal little companion.

Tart currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
