Meet Mufasa 🐾

Mufasa is a gorgeous long-haired orange cat who was found living on the streets and is now looking for a forever home. Despite his rough start, he has a gentle heart and is ready to share his love with someone special.

Mufasa would prefer to be the only pet in the home, though with time and patience he may be able to adjust to other cats. His experience with dogs is unknown.

This regal boy deserves a safe, loving place to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal and affectionate companion, Mufasa may be the perfect match for you. ❤️

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $150.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $350.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Partnering with Petsmart stores, we have adoption day every Saturday 10-12 and Sunday 12 to 2 in Rochester, Minnesota, rotating locations every week.

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
