Meet Bearberry, a stunning and spirited dog with an infectious love for life. This friendly girl is a social butterfly, quickly warming up to new people and children, and is reliably housebroken. Bearberry is wonderfully dog-friendly and thrives on canine companionship, though her high excitement means she's best matched with another dog who can either match her energetic play or remain very chill and go with the flow. While she won't start any trouble, she's a strong personality who won't tolerate being yelled at by other dogs and will quickly stand her ground if challenged. Beyond her social graces, Bearberry is quite the athlete: she's great at catching treats in the air and has a strong prey drive for anything small that runs, making her a keen chaser. She is extremely strong, so she needs a physically capable handler who can keep her safe and handle her appropriately on a leash. Bearberry also has a strong sensitivity to heat, so her adopter will need to be mindful of keeping her cool during warmer weather. She did beautifully at an adoption event, proving her fantastic temperament with everyone she met.
