Meet Namir! Namir came into the shelter on July 4th, 2025, found running loose in the City of Alpine. This guy has really come a long way. He came in pretty banged up and with an eye infection which we have since treated and he is now looking fantastic! He was not sure what to think of us all at first, but with just a few days of love, understanding and reassurance, Namir has come out of his shell and is showing to be the sweetest boy. Namir has been introduced to a few dogs already, he was pretty unsure about the bigger, playful Pit Bull type but loved being with a dog his own size and temperament, which is just playful enough, NOT TOO MUCH! Haha! He is a wonderful leash walker, and once the walk is over, he wants to play tug of war with it with you. Our staff says their favorite characteristics are that he has a sweet demeaner and goofy personality.
