Maverick is an 8 year old, neutered male long coat chihuahua. He came to us from the local shelter as a stray. He currently has some hairloss due to a horrible flea infestation. The fleas have been taken care of, now we are waiting for his hair to grow back.
Maverick is a very sweet boy who loves everyone. He is very quiet and loves his crate.
He has luxating patellas and he rarely uses one of his rear legs. His other rear leg is weak, so he prefers to be carried as much as possible. He is a little on the chunky side. We're hoping once he loses a little bit of weight it will make it easier for him to walk.
He needs a home with no other pets or just 1 pet. Maverick would love to have as much attention as possible. Also no young children due to him being unstable on his rear legs.
