My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Indoor only*

Petite Sierra is a gentle girl who is learning to adjust after her loving mama moved into an assisted living home. Though this change has been big for her, Sierra is full of affection and eager to share her love with new friends.
She has a charming habit of making lots of biscuits for anyone who visits her foster home, and she enjoys getting to know you the best way she knows how—by curling up in your lap for a long, cozy cuddle. Sierra is a true lap cat at heart.
Don’t let her calm demeanor fool you, though—Sierra still has a playful side! A few back scritches are all it takes to get her purr machine roaring, and she’s especially fond of catnip-stuffed toys. (Just check out her silly photos—we had a hard time choosing the purr-fect one!)
Sierra is hoping that 2026 is the year she finds her furever family—a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and adored.

Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.

We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
