My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Crimini! This 5 month-old shepherd mix is whip-smart, energetic, and ready for his
active home. Crimini is a young, driven pup who would do best in a home ready to invest in ongoing training. He would love a home where he can get lots of exercise - runners, hikers, bikers, are all welcome! He would likely do well with another energetic, playful dog to keep him company. We estimate Crimini’s adult weight to be about 50 pounds, no guarantees.

If you're interested in meeting Crimini, please fill out a questionnaire or email us at adopt@rocketdogrescue.org!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Our dogs live both in foster homes and at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary in Oakland. The best way to arrange a meeting for a specific dog is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

We have adoption events every weekend throughout the Bay Area, which you can see here - https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/events/
